NAWABSHAH, Dec 26: Sindh Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Naib Ameer Mumtaz Hussain Sehto has said that the elections without independent judiciary, free media and independent Election Commission would be meaningless.

Speaking at a gathering of party workers here on Wednesday, Sehto said that Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif had earlier announced that they would not accept Musharraf with or without uniform but now they are participating in the elections to strengthen Musharraf’s dictatorship.

He said that the people of Pakistan could never forget the killing of innocent people in Waziristan, Bajaur and Lal Masjid.

Sehto urged the people to boycott the elections on Jan8. He said that the APDM would hold public meeting at Hyderabad on December 28.
