AJK-PP plans condolence references

MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 8: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the People’s Party will organise condolence references in different areas of Azad Kashmir in memory of the late PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto.

AJK-PP leader Shaukat Javed Mir told reporters on Tuesday that a reference would be held in Muzaffarabad on Thursday followed by other such programmes in Rawalakot on Jan 11, in Sudhnoti on Jan 12, in Kotli on Jan 13, in Mirpur on Jan 15 and in Bhimber on Jan 16.

He said that Kashmiri refugees in Pakistan would also hold such programmes under the aegis of AJK-PP in accordance with the decision of the party’s central executive committee.

Mr Mir expressed support and trust of the AJK-PP in the leadership of party’s new chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Makhdoom Amin Faheem.
