LAHORE, Jan 9: Pakistan will play Germany in their opening match of the 8-nation junior hockey tournament on Jan 17 at Kuala Lumpur.

Besides host Malaysia, teams from Australia, Germany, India, South Korea, Holland and New Zealand are taking part in the competitive event.

The matches will be played on single league basis while the final and the classification matches will be played on January 27.

Following is the schedule of matches: Jan 17 - Korea vs India ,New Zealand vs Holland, Germany vs Pakistan, Malaysia vs Australia

Jan 18 - India vs New Zealand, Germany vs Holland, Korea vs Australia, Pakistan vs Malaysia.

Jan 19 Rest Day

Jan 20 - Germany vs Korea,Malaysia vs New Zealand, Holland vs Australia, Pakistan vs India

Jan 21 - Germany vs New Zealand, India vs Australia, Pakistan vs Holland, Malaysia vs Korea

Jan 22 Rest Day

Jan 23 - Australia vs Pakistan, Korea vs New Zealand, India vs Germany, Holland vs Malaysia.

Jan 24 - New Zealand vs Pakistan, Australia vs Germany, Korea vs Holland, Malaysia vs India.

Jan 25 Rest Day

Jan 26 - Germany vs Malaysia, Holland vs India, Pakistan vs Korea, Australia vs New Zealand.

Jan 27 – Final; the classification matches 7th vs 8th, 5th vs 6th, 3rd vs 4th.—APP
