ISLAMABAD, Jan 27: City police have arrested two persons, allegedly involved in a murder of a couple in the name of honour, police said here on Sunday.

A police team raided bus stop near the Khana Bridge and arrested a man along with his son, accused of killing his daughter and her husband.

The accused were produced before a court, where the judge gave them to the police for three days under physical remand. Another accused of the murder is still at large and police are trying to arrest him.

The couple - Shahzad Allah Ditta, 32 and Saima Siddiq, 20 - was found dead, in a rented flat located at the PWD Colony at Sector G-9/2 on October 29 last year.

The police said brothers of Ms Siddiq strangulated the couple as she had married against the will of her parents.

Some marks of injures were found on her head, which was caused by a blunt metal, the police added.
