‘Terrorist’ held

DERA MURAD JAMALI, Jan 27: Police claim to have arrested a man wanted for his alleged involvement in several attacks on railway tracks and cases of murder, murder attempt and terrorism in Balochistan and Sindh.

Talking to APP, SHO Ghulam Mustafa of Dera Mura Jamali police station identified the suspect as Dost Ali Chakrani Bugti.

The police raided a local hotel on information about the presence of the suspect there and arrested him.

Chakrani is said to be wanted to the police eight FIRs registered at different police stations in Balochistan and Sindh.

The SHO said that the police stations concerned had been asked to send copies of the FIRs to Dera Murad Jamali police station and added that investigation was in progress.—APP
