KARACHI, Jan 30: Normal shipping activity was observed at the port where two ships to load, unload containers, and edible oil were accommodated on berths at QICT and MPT terminal during the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, an edible oil vessel arrived at the outer anchorage

Berth occupancy remained at 50 per cent at the port where six ships occupied berths to load, unload containers, wheat, edible oil, and iron ore, respectively, during the report period.

The port handled a cargo volume of 57, 430 tons comprising of 50,314 ton of imports and 7,116 tons of exports, inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 1,346 containers (Teus) during the same period.

Two container vessels sailed out to the sea during the last 24 hours.
