Residents said Taj Colony, Essarpura, Manuabad, Camp No. 2, Police Lines, Maryam Road, Hussaini Road, Gharibabad, Masjid Road and Mohini Bazaar were the worst affected areas.

They said 3-4 hours unannounced loadshedding on daily basis was continuing for the last couple of weeks.

A Hesco’s spokesman at the local grid station said that main supply from Dadu was suspended.

DEMONSTRATION: Some government school teachers on Wednesday staged a demonstration outside the local press club against delay in the payment of their salaries and training allowances.

Talking to newsmen, representatives of the protesters said that hundreds of teachers had not received their salaries due to negligence of bank staff.
