10 LHC judges take oath

LAHORE, Feb 9: The newly-appointed 10 additional judges of the Lahore High Court took oath here on Saturday.

Chief Justice Sayed Zahid Husain administered the oath to the new judges in a ceremony attended by the judges, lawyers and their families.

The judges who took oath included three judges of the lower judiciary Kazim Ali Malik (anti-corruption judge-Multan), Rana Zahid Mahmood (D&SJ-Sheikhupura), Muhammad Ashraf Bhatti (D&SJ-Lahore) and lawyers M.A Zafar, Ali Akbar Qureshi, Hafiz Tariq Nasim, Khalil Ahmad, Syed Shaheen Masood Rizvi, Malik Saeed Ejaz and Ahsan Bhoon.

The media was not allowed to attend the ceremony.
