Polls in NA-42 postponed

ISLAMABAD, Feb 13: The Election Commission has postponed polling in the NA-42, Tribal Area-VII seat, till further orders.

The commission said in a statement that the decision had been taken on the basis of reports from the Fata Secretariat in Peshawar on the law and order situation in South Waziristan.

The decision had been taken under section 25 of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 read with Article 6 of the Election Commission Order, 2002, the statement said.
