PESHAWAR, Feb 16: A judicial tribunal constituted by the provincial government under section 3 of the West Pakistan Tribunal of Inquiries Ordinance, 1969, to probe bombing of the Awami National Party rally in Charsadda on Feb 9, began its proceedings here on Saturday.

Justice Ziauddin Khattak of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) is heading the inquiry into the incident, which left scores dead and as many injured.

A public notice issued

by the registrar of the tribunal said, “This public notice is given to all those who have witnessed, recorded or photographed the said incident or otherwise have got any information regarding the incident, including the print and electronic media, to get their names registered with the Registrar of the Tribunal between 9.00 am to 2.00 pm from Feb 19 to 23”.
