LAHORE, Feb 24: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Sardar Muhammad Saghir Khan has said the front would soon present seven points for ‘real’ freedom of Kashmir.

Speaking at the ‘Unity of Kashmir conference’ here on Sunday, Khan said JKLF’s seven points would counter President Pervez Musharraf’s proposals on Kashmir.

He said President Musharraf had confused the Kashmir issue by giving seven proposals for its resolution.

He said Kashmiris were happy that Pakistan and India had not signed any agreement on any of the proposals floated by President Musharraf, adding that any such agreement would have ‘deprived’ Kashmiris of their rights.

Khan said Kashmiris would not accept division of their state and continue their struggle for ‘real’ independence. He opposed election of Azad Kashmir Assembly members from Pakistan.

Jammu Kashmir People’s Muslim League Secretary-General Ghulam Mohyuddin Diwan and JKPML Lahore President Farooq Azad also spoke on the occasion.
