HYDERABAD, Feb 25: Hyderabad District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil inaugurated the children’s ward, a nursery and a children’s emergency centre at the Hilal-i-Ahmer general Hospital in Latifabad and provided Rs2 million for the construction of a mortuary in the hospital.

He also announced the grant of Rs20 million on behalf of the district government for the construction of a children hospital in Phulelli.

Hilal-e-Ahmer Sindh’s vice-president Sardar Yasin Malik, DCO and office-bearers of Hilal-e-Ahmer, Hyderabad, and the EDO attended the ceremony.

The district nazim said that six hospitals were being built by the district government while the existing hospitals were being expanded and new departments were being established to provide comprehensive health cover to the people.

Sardar Yasin Malik, adviser to the creakertaker prime minister, said that during the past two years, the Hyderabad district government had carried out record development work.

FLYOVER: The district Nazim has directed the officials concerned to complete the Latif Chowk and Shahbaz Chowk flyovers in six months. He gave the orders during an inspection of the ongoing construction work on Monday.
