KARACHI, Feb 26: Four ships carrying containers and to load cement and clinkers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where seven ships were berthed. They are: Lucky Arrow to load cement, Morning Glory-3 to load naphtha, Royal Imperial, to offload chemicals, Mol Ability, Kapitan Byankin, and China Star, to unload and load containers and Malakand to unload and load general cargo.

Four vessels, As Mars, Conti Germany, Royal Imperial, and Orient Stride departed on Tuesday, while Manucla Bottigliucri, China Star, Pulau Cebu, Lucky Arrow, Spica and Delta Ranger are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 91,485 tons comprising 40,232 tons of export tonnage including 4,192 tons of cement and 51,253 tons of import cargo was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Hyundai Highway, Filippa, with containers, Noor-i-Medina to load 16,600 tons of clinkers and Hyun Jin, to load 10,400 tons of cement.
