LAHORE, Feb 29: Pakistan’s ace tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and India’s No 1 Rohan Bopanna have been invited by Dubai Tennis to participate in the $1.426 million Dubai ATP championship, starting from Monday.

Aisam, who returned to Pakistan on Friday morning after playing on the ATP Circuit for five weeks in Germany, Poland and US, leaves for Dubai on Saturday morning.

“It is an honour for me as well as for Pakistan that one of the world’s most prestigious tournament and definitely Asia’s No 1 tennis championship have acknowledged my achievements and standing in Asia and extended a wild card invitation to me.

“Rohan and I will be giving our best in Dubai,” said Aisam.
