JACOBABAD, March 13: A shutter-down strike was observed in Kandhkot on Thursday against the killing of a security guard, Jan Mohammad Khoso, when he was on duty at a shop on station road.
Several political parties’ activists and local people took out a procession from the Library chowk.
The activists of the PPP, PML, JUI, STP and social workers were carrying banners and placards and raising slogans for the arrest of the killers.
The protesters after marching on main roads of the town reached outside the press club. They said that police had failed to arrest the killers. They warned of prolonged protest if the culprits were not arrested within 48 hours.
