Taslima leaves India
NEW DELHI, March 19: Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen has left India for Europe after being hounded into hiding by death threats from Islamic militants, her publisher and friends said on Wednesday.
“Taslima Nasreen flew out of New Delhi this afternoon to Europe for medical treatment,” her publisher Sibani Mukherjee said, declining to disclose the exact destination.—AFP
