GUJRANWALA, March 23: A fire erupted in a tyres manufacturing factory in Small Industries Estate reducing machinery and products worth around hundreds of thousands of rupees to ashes here on Sunday.

The fire broke out in the bicycle tyres manufacturing factory owned by Arif Muhammad and Sohail Cheema owing to short-circuiting, which later engulfed the whole building. Fire-brigade staffers extinguished the fire in an hour or so.
