KARACHI: KWSB drive

KARACHI, April 7: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) cut off seven illegal water connections and 24 sewerage connections to force defaulters to clear their dues.

The action was taken against consumers in the industrial areas of North Karachi and F ‘B’ Area as part of the KWSB’s ongoing recovery campaign.

Meanwhile, the KWSB staff also removed illegal installed water connections from a 10-inch-diametre main supplying water to industrial consumers in North Karachi Industrial Area.—PPI
