Junior women’s swimming

KARACHI, April 7: Zohra Wahab and Alina Haji, both from Sindh, excelled in the National women’s junior age group swimming championship held at the Karachi Club pool.

The former picked up five individual gold medals in the 16 years and under age group while the latter ended up with four gold medals in 12 years and under age category.

Sindh quartet also set a new mark in 4 x 100m free style relay for 14 and under age group.

Besides Sindh, swimmers from Punjab and Navy also featured in the meet.
