ISLAMABAD, April 11: Teams from Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka have confirmed their participation in the 48th National golf amateur championship to be held from April 17-20 at the Islamabad Golf Club.

Secretary Pakistan Golf Federation Taimur Hasan, told Dawn on Friday the Pakistan golf team is in excellent form.

“We would have a good competition as foreign players are also competing in the championship.”

The men’s championship will be played over 72 holes, ladies over 54 holes and the seniors will be played over 36 holes.

Following are the players from Pakistan: Tariq Mahmood, Ali Hai, Muhammad Safdar, Dayial Jehangir.

Bangladesh: Shahid Khan, Liton Hawaldar, Hossain Mollah, Milon Ahmed.

Sri Lanka: R. Rakita, K. Chandarsdasa, K. Prabagarn, Mithun Perera.

India: Vikram Rana, Harjindar Sing Kang, Neha Tripathi.
