HYDERABAD, April 13: Hussainabad Giddu park and Holmes Stead hall park will be opened to the public during the current month while Rani Bagh will be opened next month.

This was stated by Hyderabad District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil during his visit to different under-construction parks in the city on Saturday.

Deputy project director Hyderabad development package, Abdul Haleem Ghori, engineers, project consultants, elected representatives of the people and the notables of different localities were also present on the occasion.

Kanwar Naveed Jamil said that recreational facilities had become necessary in the present age of competition and tension to give some rest to the minds.

This is the reason that the district government has undertaken the construction of parks and playgrounds in all the localities which included Naseem Nagar and Bhittai Nagar park in Qasimabad, Noorani Basti park, Mustafa ground, Afzal ground, Barrage colony park and many others, he said.

During his visit to Hussainabad Giddu park, which has almost been completed, the district nazim said that this would provide recreational facilities like boating to the elders as well as to the children.

He said this park, spreading over five 5 acres of land would be completed with an amount of Rs8.7 million.

This would be a unique park with its location on the bank of River Indus.

He directed the consultant and the contractors to open the Hussainabad Giddu park and Holmes Stead hall park for the general public latest by April 30 and Rani Bagh by the end of May.
