Dollar plunges

LONDON, April 16: The dollar plunged to an all-time low against the euro here on Wednesday on news of a record rise in eurozone inflation, a fresh downturn in the foundering US housing sector and a modest gain in US consumer prices. The single European currency at point surged to a record $1.5979 and was later trading at $1.5968 after $1.5789 late Tuesday in New York.—AFP
