Support to Iftikhar
SAHIWAL, April 22: Lawyers will not accept judges’ reinstatement without deposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Local lawyers’ representative Iftikharul Haq Khawar said lawyers wanted the entire judiciary in its pre-Nov 3 position. He thanked local reporters and civil society activists for their support for lawyers.
Another representative of lawyers, Chaudhry Abdul Mateen, expressed the hope theincumbent rulers would restore the judges according to their promise.
