PESHAWAR, April 23: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) on Wednesday notified that loadshedding would be carried out for an hour, from five to seven times in 24 hours, in parts of the provincial capital.
According to a spokesperson for the company, consumption of power in the city had been increased due to change in the climate and they were facing shortage of power.
The company was facing a shortfall of 326 megawatt in the morning while the shortage recorded at noon was 481 megawatt and during the peak hours, from 6pm to 11am, it was recorded 605 megawatt.
