SARGODHA, April 23: Drivers parked over 200 trucks in the middle of Sargodha-Faisalabad Road and blocked it for four hours on Wednesday in protest against government’s refusal to buy the yield.
Drivers said the Food Department’s wheat procurement at Asianwala centre had refused to buy wheat from them, saying they had sufficient stock of the yield.
Protestors said they had heard the similar responses at wheat storage centres in Haiderabad, Multan and Rahim Yar Khan.
