THATTA, April 28: Pakistan People’s Party MPA Ms Humera Alwani said on Monday that the revival of Keti Bundar mini port-cum-fish harbour and a mega power project would change the fate of people in the coastal area of Keti Bundar, Shah Bundar, Jati, Ghorabari and Kharochhan.

Talking to Dawn, Ms Alwani said that the project would eventually serve as a deepwater port. The ground breaking ceremony of the Keti Bundar power project was performed on Jan 30, 1996, by Benazir Bhutto and the people had high hopes that it would open the doors of opportunity, development, rapid industrialisation and modernisation in rural Sindh, she said.
