BAHAWALPUR, April 30: Six people were burned to death after a wagon in a marriage motorcade crashed into a tree and caught fire near Lal Sohanra, about 30km from the Bahawalpur-Hasilpur Road on Wednesday.

The motorcade was going to Chishtian from Sadiqabad.

The accident reportedly occurred after the driver lost control over the vehicle because of speeding. The wagon caught fire after its fuel tank exploded.

The deceased were identified as Kamaran, 27, Hanif, 24, Ahmad, 22, Adnan, 22, and Aamir, 26. The bodies were handed over to relatives who were in another bus.
