NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 30: Armed men entered four houses, tied inmates with ropes and after looting valuables, cash and gold set ablaze all the four abodes in Akbar Gopang village near Kandiaro on Tuesday night.

The homes of Akbar, Suhino, Asghar Ali, all Gopang by caste and Sultan Kalhoro were looted and valuables worth Rs250,000 taken away. The robbers put on fire the houses in which buffalos, chicken and wheat were burnt.

The nearby villagers reached the spot and saved the inmates. Bakhri and Khan Wahan police were following the footprints.

Victims Akbar, Suhino, Sultan and Asghar told reporters that they had enmity over matrimonial matter with their tribesmen residing in Katcha Area of Larkana district, including Saleh and Karim Bux Gopang who were responsible for it.

INJURED: Ten persons were injured in an accident near Dheeran near Moro on Wednesday. According to reports, a Karachi bound bus coming from Jacobabad overturned while overtaking a trailer near Dheeran.

Ten persons including Dr Naresh Kumar, Mohammad Afzal Qureshi, Manzoor Abro, bus driver Mumtaz, Allah Ditto Arain, Sultan, Akbar and others were injured. The injured were admitted to Taluka Hospital Moro.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

RAID: Bhirya police raided houses in Hussain Kalhoro village and recovered one Kalashnikov and single barrel gun on Wednesday.

Police raided the houses of Sodho and Gulab Kalhoro and claimed that one Kalashnikov, 30 bullets and one single barrel gun and 25 cartridges were recovered while Gulab and Sodho managed to escape.
