ISLAMABAD, May 2: Natasha Afridi upstaged second seed Sara Mansoor, in the quarter-final of the Ladies National Tennis Championship played here at the Islamabad Club on Friday.

Top seed Sarah Mehboob also convincingly routed out her opponent Mehreen Izhar.In the day’s first quarter-final, Sarah Mehboob, got off to a hurricane start to hammer the talented Mehreen Izhar (Lahore) 6-0, 6-0.

In the second fixture, a confident Natasha Afridi defeated Sara Mansoor 6-0, 6-1.

Natasha played some brilliant strokes, not allowing Sara to play her natural game.

Meanwhile, in the doubles semi-finals, Sarah Mehboob and Natasha Afridi defeated Mehreen Izhar and Fatima Mansoor 6-0, 6-0 as Sara Mansoor and Saba Aziz beat Mehak Kokhar and Ushna Sohail 6-2, 6-4.
