NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 3: Unidentified persons killed an eighth class student of Hussain Bux Waggan village near Tharushah, on Friday.

According to reports, 16-year old Wazir Ali s/o Punhal Khan, student of the Government High School Tharushah had left the house to fetch a cassette. The family realised his absence the next day and went out in his search. A villager informed of a body lying in mango orchard.

The accused had shot the boy in the neck and threw his body in the orchard.

The father of the dead boy denied having enmity with anyone.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of the report.

INJURED: Three people were injured when a portion of a room of a roadside hotel fell in Tharushah, on Saturday.

According to details, the part fell suddenly putting few people under debris who later were pulled out by the people present there.

Ghulam Mohammad Ujjan, Haroon and Moula Bux were injured and admitted to Rural Health Centre Tharushah.

TECHNICAL TRAINING: The Livestock Department has begun technical training for women due to their involvement in keeping the livestock.

The Sindh Livestock Minister Abdul Haq Bhurt while speaking to people of Mohbat Khan Chandio, Laiq Faqir, Mitho Chandio and Pir Bux Dahraj villages on Saturday said the training to rural women in livestock was important. He said the trained women will be provided jobs in the department and will also be sent abroad for further training.

Answering newsmen’s questions, the minister said those involved in May 12, incident will be punished without discrimination. He said police had started taking action against criminals and will take action against them even if they were influential people.

JSM: Lawyers’ basic demand was restoration of pre-November judiciary and not adjusting the PCO judges, said Jeay Sindh Mahaz Convenor, Abdul Khaliq Junejo while speaking to the DBA Naushahro Feroze, on Saturday.

He said feudal lords were avoiding restoration of judges. He said people of Sindh voted for the present government by rejecting Pervez Musharraf’s policies including construction of Kalabagh Dam, Thal Canal, NFC Award and local bodies system.

He said the rulers were acting against the mandate and insulting people by creating further problems for the people of Sindh. He said it was important for the middle class to come forward and get rid of feudal from politics. For the purpose, Sindh’s lawyer can play important role, he said.

The District Bar Association General Secretary and leader of Peoples Lawyers Forum, Abdul Salam Luhrani, Haji Khan Panhwar and Ali Ahmed Vistro also spoke on the occasion.
