LAHORE, May 4: The chief minister's secretariat on Sunday decided to surrender 65 vehicles of its transport pool to the services and general administration department (S&GAD).

The decision has been taken in view of the policy of the provincial government to reduce the number of official vehicles, and to cut the chief minister secretariat's expenditure by 70 per cent.

The surrendered vehicles were being used by various government officers during the previous setup.
