PJA gives away equipment

LAHORE, May 4: The Punjab Judo Association has distributed judo equipment among its different district associations and some prominent clubs in the province.

Judo mats and uniforms were distributed free of cost to the districts of Rawalpindi and Khanewal at a function held here on Sunday. Equipment was also provided to Lahore Grammar School, Samanabad Girls High School and the Gulshan-e-Ravi Judo Club in Lahore.

PJA secretary Shahid Javed Malik said that trained coaches would also be provided to the prominent clubs in order to raise the standard of the sport.—Sports Reporter
