Three held, suicide vests seized

By Mohammad Asghar

RAWALPINDI, May 10: Law-enforcement agencies on Saturday arrested three suspected terrorists and seized some suicide vests and maps of sensitive installations.

They have been identified as Asad Hussain, Asif Ali and Khalid Saifullah. Asad and Asif belong to Malpur, Islamabad, while Khalid Saifullah belongs to Javnia, a village in Punjab.

A high security alert was declared in the twin cities after the arrest of the terrorists, top government sources said. The sources said that the bombers had been arrested from Civil Lines area, a high-security zone in Rawalpindi, and they were later shifted to an undisclosed place.

The sources said the terrorists had links to other terror groups involved in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto and they belonged to a banned outfit.
