Mahmood, Safi to attend course

LAHORE, May 13: Mahmood Khan and Safiullah, two Pakistani football coaches, will be attending the 14-day Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C-Certificate coaching course being held in Iran from May 14.

Nasir Ismail, who is already in Iran as manager-cum-coach of the Pakistan Under-14 team taking part in the AFC competition there, will also be attending a two-day head coaches’ workshop starting from Wednesday. The AFC C-Certificate Coaching Course 2008 is a part of the U-14 event in which Pakistan along with Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and hosts Iran are competing for the top honours.—Sports Reporter
