ISLAMABAD, May 25: Pakistan and Jordan will soon sign a free trade agreement, says Jordanian Ambassador Dr Saleh Ahmed Al Jawarneh.

“We welcome Pakistanis to seek profitable business and investment opportunities in Jordan,” the ambassador said in a statement on the 62nd Independence Day of his country.

He congratulated the people, government and politicians of Pakistan on holding free, fair and transparent elections which resulted in a peaceful transfer of power.

Jordan looked forward to joining hands with the new government to enhance their working relationship for meeting shared objectives and strengthening bilateral relations, he said.—APP
