KARACHI, May 30: An unbeaten century by Mubashir Ahmed guided Korangi Al-Fateh Cricket Club to the KCCA Inter-club tournament quarter-finals as they thrashed Young Pak Flag Cricket Club by 74 runs at the Airport Stadium here on Thursday.

Mubashir struck six boundaries and a brace of sixes in his 105 as Korangi Al Fateh CC reached 266 for five in the stipulated 40 overs. YPFCC, in reply, were bowled for 192 in 34.3 overs.

In another match played at the TMC Ground, Tapal Cricket Club defeated AO Cricket Club by seven wickets. Ahmed Zeeshan Malik banged 11 boundaries in his 75 for the winners.
