LAHORE, June 3: Provincial finance ministers of the four provinces will meet here on Wednesday to exchange views on a variety of issues related to financial governance in the provinces.

“It is going to be an informal session where we shall discuss and exchange our experiences with one another. We will discuss all the subjects and topics informally,” Punjab Finance Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira told Dawn on Tuesday.

“Provincial autonomy and the issues related to the National Finance Commission (NFC) award can also come under discussion,” he said. He said the Balochistan chief minister would also participate in the meeting.

Sindh will be represented by its senior minister, Pir Mazharul Haq, as the portfolio of finance is held by the chief minister himself. The guests, he said, would meet the Punjab chief minister and the governor.
