HYDERABAD, June 6: Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Akhlaq Hussain Larik on Friday issued non-bailable warrants against former Sindh minister Dr Sohrab Sarki, PML-Q leader Malik Changez, former SHO of Budhapur police station and others in a case in which former Sindh minister Altaf Unnar is also involved.

The case was lodged on the complaint of PPP MNA Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, sister of PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari, after she came under fire allegedly at the hands of accused including Mr Sarki and Mr Unnar on February 10, 2007 during by-elections of PS-71 in Jamshoro.

Hearing on Mr Unnar’s bail application and another challenging jurisdiction of the ATC in the matter was adjourned after appointment of new special public prosecutor following resignation of Riazat Ali Sahar, special public prosecutor appointed by the Sindh government for the case.

The case has been adjourned till June 11 and the accused Altaf Unnar who was brought to court was taken back to central prison Hyderabad.
