Time bomb explodes in Quetta

QUETTA - One person was injured when a time bomb went off in front of PTCL Exchange on Monday afternoon.

According to police, unknown persons planted a time device close to main gate of the PTCL exchange. It had been from heard far away in the metropolis causing concern among the citizens.

The exchange is located in a high security area near which is the Governor House, CM Secretariat, Civil Secretariat and residences of provincial ministers, secretaries and senior officers.

A person sustained minor injuries in the explosion as windowpanes of the reception office of PTCL Exchange were shattered.

CCPO Quetta Akbar Arain along with heavy contingent of police reached the site and inspected the spot.
