ISLAMABAD, July 1: The government has raised the price of natural gas for the ‘captive power sector’ by 67.99 per cent.
According to an amended notification of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, the gas price for the sector has been raised to Rs422.60 per MMBTU from Rs251.55 with effect from Tuesday.
The minimum charge for the sector has been increased to Rs14,249.96 per month from Rs8,482.2.
