Three wounded in accident

KASUR, July 2: Three people were injured seriously in a collision between a car and a speedy truck on Kot Radha Kishan Road on Wednesday.

The car was on its way from Lahore to Changa Manga when it collided with a truck near Bhoay Asal. As a result, car occupants Irfan, Fateh Muhammad and Akram were injured. They were taken to a local hospital in a critical condition.

DEMAND: The Ex-PCS Welfare Association, Punjab, has demanded that the government immediately call a meeting of the PSB and take up the promotion cases of EX-PCS officers.

Association President Rana Safdar Husain and Secretary-General Rana Zahid Sharif said on Wednesday they would take up the issue at all forums.

Speaking at a press conference, Sharif said the association passed a resolution at a recent meeting and demanded that the entire EX-PCS 182 cadre be filled immediately.
