ISLAMABAD, July 8: The suicide bomber who targeted law enforcers and blown himself on Sunday was identified as a native of Tank, the sources close to investigations told Dawn here on Tuesday.
The sources said that the suicide bomber was identified by an accused, arrested on June 7 in connection with three explosives- laden vehicles.
The accused identified the suicide bomber through his sketch and in this regard he was brought to capital from Adyala Jail.
The sources said that the accused gave some vital information regarding the Sunday’s blast, which would help the investigators to trace the culprits. Earlier, he also gave vital information regarding the suicide attack at Danish embassy too, they added.
Meanwhile, some eyewitnesses said that after receiving orders from the SSP they were in fall-in position and all of a white colour Toyota pick-up appeared. The person seating on front seat threw something on them and the blast occurred and they lost senses.
