MURREE, Aug 15: A man was murdered on Friday over a petty issue in Ban UC.
Police said Khalid Mehmood and Farooq had developed rivalry after children’s fight and the matter was taken to a jirga which could not resolve their differences.
On Friday morning when Khalid was taking his daughter to school, Farooq along with his brother opened fire on Khalid killing him on the spot and injuring his daughter. Khalid’s body was taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Murree for postmortem.— Correspondent
