Naimat wins cycle race

KARACHI, Aug 15: Naimat won the 50 kilometer Independence Day cycle race which was held in the city on Thursday to commemorate the country’s 61st birthday. He covered the distance in 1.17:10

Sameer Ahmed finished runner-up clocking 1.17:5 while Asif Ali timed 1.17:20 to seize the third place. Some 50 paddlers belonging to the city and interior Sindh, participated in the event.—Sports Correspondent
