HYDERABAD, Aug 21: Activists of Jeay Sindh Students Federation (JSSF) held a demonstration outside the press club and five students staged a hunger strike, demanding removal of the controller and secretary of the Hyderabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

Habib Bhutto, Baghi Kalero, Asif Bhutto, Anwar Langah and Fahad Soomro started what they called a hunger strike unto death.

Jeay Sindh Students Federation leaders Sooriah Sindhi and Mir Mushtaq Soomro accused the controller and secretary of destroying the board. Corruption was rampant in the board and students were humiliated when they went there to obtain mark sheets, they said.

They demanded that the secretary and controller who were working on contract should be removed and an inquiry should be held against them.
