Karachi Blues down Hyderabad

KARACHI, Sept 18: Leg-spinner Shahzaib Khan continued his super run with the leather, capturing five wickets to spin Karachi Blues to an impressive six-wicket victory over Hyderabad in the PCB Inter-region Under-19 one-day tournament at the Niaz Stadium Hyderabad on Wednesday, according to the information received here.

Shahzaib claimed five wickets for 17 in 9.1 overs as Hyderabad, batting first, were bowled out for 117 in 38.1 overs.

Maroof Aziz took two wickets for 30 in ten overs.

Bilal Irshad emerged as the top-scorer with 29 while Saim Pathan made 22.

Karachi Blues reached the target in 25.3 overs for the loss of four wickets. Latif Junejo cracked 38 with three fours and Shahzaib Hasan hit three boundaries in his 37.
