HYDERABAD, Oct 10: Expressing concern over bomb blasts in Islamabad, the Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party Chairman Dr Qadir Magsi said that such incidents had exposed the weakness of the government.
Rulers were not in a position to combat terrorism and protect life and property of public as they had lost control over state institutions, he said in a statement.“Terrorism, price hike, poverty, unemployment and economic crisis were the biggest challenges facing the government”, he said. He flayed the proposed auction of Qadirpur and Mari gas fields and other natural resources of Sindh and vowed that his party would resist such moves.
Criticising the increase in DAP fertiliser rate, he said that a bag worth Rs2,500 was beyond the reach of poor farmers. He demanded immediate reduction in DAP fertiliser, diesel, petrol, and electricity rates.
