Ayesha makes exit

KARACHI, Oct 16: Pakistan’s Ayesha Khan went down 2-4 fighting to Anghard Phillips of Wales to make her exit in the second round of Commonwealth Youth Games table tennis competition in Pune the other day.

According to details, Ayesha was 2-1 up in the match before surrendering the keenly fought battle to Phillips, who won 10-12, 11-8, 8-11, 11-7, 11-7, 13-11.

Ayesha’s team-mate Salman Ahmed Tahir Virk, who also qualified for the second round, made his exit.—Sports Correspondent
