KARACHI: Gang-rape case

KARACHI, Oct 25: An ASI on Saturday testified in a case pertaining to the gang-rape of a woman on the premises of the Quaid-i-Azam’s mausoleum on March 15.

He told additional district and sessions judge Aftab Ahmed Bughio that he was on patrol duty on the morning of March 17, when Rangers posted at the Mazar informed him that a girl had been found in an unconscious condition. After regaining consciousness, she narrated her ordeal, he said, adding that he took the girl to the Brigade police station and handed her over to the duty officer.
