BD name one-day squad for SA tour

DHAKA, Oct 28: Bangladesh recalled pace bowler Nazmul Hossain in a 15-man one-day squad to tour South Africa next month.

Middle order batsman Raqibul Hassan was also recalled after recovering from a finger injury.

Bangladesh will play a Twenty20 match and a three-match ODI series, ahead of a two-match Test series against South Africa.

The squad for the Test series will be announced later.

One-day squad: Mohammad Ashraful (captain), Mashrafe Mortaza (vice-captain), Tamim Iqbal, Junaed Siddique, Shakib Al Hasan, Mehrab Hossain Jr, Mushfiqur Rahim, Naeem Islam, Abdur Razzak, Shahadat Hossain, Syed Rasel, Nazmul Hossain, Mahbubul Alam, Raqibul Hassan, Imrul Kayes.

Itinerary:

Nov 5: Twenty20 International (Johannesburg).

Nov 7: First One-day International (Potchefstroom, D/N).

Nov 9: Second One-day International (Benoni).

Nov 12: Third One-day International (East London, D/N).

Nov 19-23: First Test (Bloemfontein).

Nov 26-30: Second Test (Centurion).
